Name: Jennifer Anastasia Ravencroft
Age: 20
Birthday: January 19th
Birthplace: Saranac Lake, New York
Personality: Jennifer is an outgoing girl looking forward to her college years. She has for years tried to ignore her families skills with Magic. Although, a natural and very adept at the art, she has turned her focus away from the family's trade and instead tried to live a normal life. She can be funny and perky, her smile and personality can command a room. The only time her disposition changes is when her family history is brought up by anyone in the know. When magic and supernatural subjects come up she can become cold and distant. Now faced with dealing with these very things on a daily basis Jenn's personality and her outlook on the world makes her a bit moody. One minute the normal fun Jenn and the next withdrawn and cold.
Appearance: Jennifer grew up with the all American good looks of a girl next door. She has grown into a beautiful woman with a bit of a haunted look. She stands only 5 foot 5 inches. She is thin but athletic. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears her hair long but has been known to cut it shirt at times. Her smile lightens many a bad mood, but now that her life has been turned upside down the shadows under her eyes are seen far too often.

History: The Ravencroft family is renowned on the East Coast for their knowledge of Magic Arts. Thomas and Anna Ravencroft led one of the oldest Coven's in New York until their untimely death. Just who or what killed the Ravencrofts remains a mystery. All that is known is that while investigating a threat to their Coven they were killed. The news devastated their only child, Jennifer. Jennifer had at a young age taken to magic with incredible speed. She was a natural like her mother Anastasia, only during her High School and teen years did Jennifer begin to rebel. As most teens do, Jenn began to want to walk her own path through life. The spells, Book of Shadows and all the rituals began to make her feel weird. Rather than grow into her parents footsteps, Jennifer wanted to walk as a normal person with a normal life. At this like with most things she attempted, Jennifer excelled. She graduated with honors and was on her way to a career in Ancient language and History Studies when the bottom feel out of her life with the deaths of her parents.
After getting all the family business in order, including placing new leadership in the Coven, Jennifer found herself wandering. She felt like maybe she made a grave mistake by turning away from her family and their ways. Many of her Parents friends in the Coven wanted to take her in, eager to see another Ravencroft rise in the ranks, but one mentioned the Slayer School and Jennifer thought this may be a better place to pick up her studies again. She wishes to honor her parents even as the supernatural world and their legacy makes her uneasy....and maybe one day use that magic to learn the truth about their deaths.
Sample RP:
Jenn put the final piece of parchment onto the fire. The paper burning swiftly with a crackle and a pop. She stared into the fire as if it could give her answers. None came, just as none had come when she burned all the other things her her parents had asked to be burned upon the time of their deaths. She would have cherished all of the belongings, but their wishes were clear. She turned as a woman from the Coven came near.
"Are you finished, Jennifer? Do you need more time?"
Jenn turned ans gave a weak version of her smile.
"No it is done. Thank you, Morgan. Thank you for helping me see them off in a manner they would have been....happy with."
Morgan was her Mother's oldest friend, almost like an Aunt to Jenn and now the Head of Coven Ravencroft. It would be funny to call it that even without a Ravencroft participating and Jenn was adamant that she would not remain with the group. She would honor her Parents by continuing to learn the Arts, but not here, not in their shadow.
"I promise to honor them. I will continue, but in my own way."
"Of course, Jennifer. We expected nothing less from you. You have your Mother's fire, her passion."
Jenn nodded. A month ago she would have denied such a comparison or even screamed at Morgan in defiance, but a lot can happen in a month.
"I'm going to attend the school that Sabrina told me about. There I will find who I am and just what my place will be in this 'Other' world. I have been away for a long time."
Morgan smiled. "Yes, you have young Ravencroft. We will be waiting to hear from you. We are your sisters always."
"Thank you again Morgan. Lets see them off and finish this."
Together Morgan and Jennifer recited the chants and cast the spell that would send her parents into the afterlife in the way the Coven always used. The Fire burned bright and flashed with a burst of varying colors. Symbolizing the end of Tom and Anna and maybe the beginning for Jennifer Ravencroft.
