History
Sulwyn was born to a poor family of farmers. He was the oldest of four. His mother and Father did the best they could, promising always that things would get better, that hardly any food or shelter would not always be their lot. Sulwyn believed this long after he should have known better. He worked hard on their tiny farm, doing the very best he could. He didn't go to school, didn't even know how to read or write. All he knew was that someday things would be OK.
His mother became ill when he was nineteen. No one knew what was wrong with her. Sulwyn watched her die slowly. It was only then that he lost hope. But he never let it show. He had work to do. His father drunk himself to death and he alone was left to take care of the family. One night he was working late in the Fields. He didn't start back until way past dark. That's when he met the face of his salvation. Their names were Sirena and Tobias. It was they who turned him, Tobias biting him, Sirena offering her own blood.
After that, things got better. Sulwyn and his saviors worked their magic across the whole of Britain, leaving towns burning and people dead. It was like waking up from a dream, being a vampire. He finally saw the world. He saw it even more clear in 1678. That's where he met his first slayer. They fought her together, the three of them. Sirena was killed and that drove Tobias and Sulwyn to their limits. They attacked the girl, sunk their fangs inside her, and drained her.
For awhile, Tobias and Sulwyn were together, but two male vampires can never co-exist alone for very long. Sulwyn left Tobias in the summer of 1770. Two years later, he met his second slayer. He fought alone this time, and killed her with a twist of her pretty neck. Power hungry and loving his unlife. He went seeking his third slayer. He found her in 1854. They fought and he almost died. Broken and beaten, Sulwyn went into hiding for a number of months before building up strength again. He found the same slayer who he'd lost to and fought her again, finally gaining victory.
After that things got boring for a couple hundred years. And then something happened. Fate. No longer one slayer, but thousands. Now Sulwyn is looking for adventure and figures he can find some. After all, the more slayers, the more fun it will be to kill them. Right?

Sirius walked as calmly as he could manage. The truth was that his insides were turning in a most unpleasant manner. He didn't know why he was so nervous about seeing Cas again. It wasn't like he should be or anything. He was sure, now, that she felt the same things for him as he had long felt for her. But still, she could have just have been trying to help and had not actually felt anything for him. He wasn't sure he could take that.
After the battle, he had spent a day and a half in St Mungo's making sure he was going to fully recover from the number his cousin had done on him. He wasn't even sure he'd fully recovered. That pain still played out in his nightmares. He woke screaming in the night sweating and looking around for a face that wasn't there, for comfort no one was there to give. He'd not even told Moony about it, not wanting him to worry.
But now he would be seeing Cas. He had to remember to send Dumbledore chocolates in thanks for picking him to bring her the files. The look in the old man's eyes as he gave him the assignment told Sirius Mad Eye had filled him in on their little mid-battle romance. Mad Eye had given Sirius a much too long talk about weakness and not showing it. But he's shown a little slack for him because he had been hurt. Sirius was willing to guess Cas was not given that much lea-way
And now he was standing outside her door. He took a deep breathe and knocked three times.
